Data Holdings

SERC collates all information relating to the biodiversity and geology of the county. Working closely with members of recording groups and other experts we carry out validation and verification checks on all incoming data to ensure the integrity of our data holdings. Our long-term aim is to get the majority of the data we hold digitised so it is more easily accessible.

We also have an extensive resource library containing reports relating to Somerset, site surveys, maps, and wildlife images generously donated by local naturalists.
