Survey Methods: For the purpose of this project reedbeds are defined as areas of reed over 0.1 ha within the Sedgemoor District Councils boundary.
Purpose: This report has been prepared for English Nature and the RSPB, to provide data on reedbeds in Sedgemoor as the starting point of a Sedgemoor Reedbeds Initiative project. Sedgemoor holds just under 1% of the UK total. 50% of this has been notified as SSS
