DataSet Name: A provisional atlas of Macrofungi in Somerset

Survey Methods: All records were entered into the SERC recorder database in as much detail as possible . Records were assigned to existing SERC sites, tetrads (2km by 2km squares), 1km squares or six or eight figure grid references.
Purpose: To summarise our current knowledge of the distribution of macrofungi
Commissioned By: Somerset Environmental Records Centre
Potential: To stimulate further recording of these groups.

Quality Controls: Data validation was carried out by manually checking randomly selected records and visual checking of maps.
Resource Comments: Species distribution maps are present for each recorded species.
