Volunteers urgently needed!
Help with Brue Valley Living Landscape Survey Records
Volunteers are urgently needed to enter paper handwritten records from the Somerset Wildlife Trust’s Brue Valley Living Landscape project surveys directly into SERC’s recording software ‘Recorder’. Brue Valley Living Landscape project is working to restore, recreate and reconnect wildlife habitats across this valuable area of wetland. You can help us process the survey data and play an important role in this project.
This is an opportunity to develop your IT skills, learn how to use Recorder and MapInfo (Geographical Information System) and enhance your botanical knowledge. You will receive training in data import into Recorder and in using MapInfo tools.
You can volunteer as little or as much as you like, any help is appreciated. If you are interested or like to discuss this voluntary position send an e-mail to: info@somerc.com or ring 01823 652424.
