News from the Reptile and Amphibian Group for Somerset (RAGS)

The Reptile and Amphibian Group for Somerset (RAGS) carried out successfully with the assistance of volunteers an adder survey within the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The survey was carried out throughout the spring and summer months of 2011 and a full report with the survey findings has been produced by John Dickson, Chairman of RAGS.

In total twelve 1km squares have been surveyed across the Quantock Hills AONB and 14 adders have been recorded.
