Volunteering with others

There are lots of opportunities to get involved with wildlife surveys and conservation throughout Somerset.

Specialist Groups

Joining one or more of the Specialist Groups is a great way to get actively involved in recording your favourite species in the county.  Between them members have a wealth of knowledge about the natural history of the county and they survey for and submit the majority of species records held by SERC.

National Surveys

Take part in one of the nationwide surveys that run throughout the year – here are some that you might be interested in:-
