What did you see?
As you write the name of the wildlife in the box, a dropdown menu will appear for you to select from.
If you don’t see the name you want please try again with a * in front of the name. e.g. *frog. You will see all the species linked to the word. For example *frog will give you common frog, frogs and toads, frog bit etc. to choose from.
If there is a number 2,3 or 4 after the wildlife’s name this means the identification is a bit more tricky (4 being hardest). In this case, if you are happy to do so, please leave your email when requested and if needed, someone can come back to you for further information.
How many?
Enter the number you saw. Usually this is the number of mobile animals like birds or mammals but sometimes it might be say 5 Orchids.
Where?
Please give us the location of your sighting. You can either enter a grid reference or search for a place using the map.
Zoom in on a location using the maps left-hand sidebar to increase the accuracy of the position you select. Then simply click on the place to select it and the grid reference will be inserted for you.
